I’m anxious, and nervous, and excited, and kind of exhausted. It’s that anticipatory exhaustion, knowing it’s likely going to be a long night. I can’t even be excited about voting, or feel accomplished by showing off my sticker because I voted over a week ago from my living room.
Being here, in this state, really not knowing what the outcome is going to be is not something I’ve experienced before. I can’t even go join my friends to watch and celebrate or commiserate because, alas, we play for different teams, as they say.
Vote, people. If have not already done so, vote today. If I could do it again today, I would.
I hear they frown on that sort of thing, though.
