I couldn’t bring myself to bore us all with my exact food choices every single day, but I have been keeping track. Here’s a day’s worth of food:
Brown rice with veggie-packed Artichoke sauce
2 rice cakes with 2 Tbs peanut butter
Lean beef chili
That was yesterday. Today I woke up CRAVING protein at breakfast. So far I’ve had:
2 egg whites with 1 slice roast beef and 1 slice reduced fat provolone
1 carrot oatmeal square
salad with romaine, celery, onion, brown rice, fontina cheese, light ranch
That should hold me over until dinner, which is at my friend Sandy’s house for Ladies’ Supper. It’s a girls only supper club and I’ve been invited as a guest. The theme is Southern food (ouch for the waist line). I made a pecan pie.
Sunday I did legs and they’re still sore today. I only managed 1 mile after the leg workout and yesterday we skipped. Today I did chest and abs and 45 minutes of cardio. My skin looks good, I feel pretty good but I don’t think I’ll be sportin’ some rocking self esteem any time soon.
